I have founded OL4ALL – a consultancy service in equitable online and blended learning – because I know from experience that online learning, if well designed, can open access to learning for students from the emerging economies regardless of their gender, age, learning and communication culture and whether they live in areas with good or poor internet infrastructure and connectivity.
I have over 20 years of experience in designing and advising on the design of online & blended courses and e-workshops for audiences in the Global North and the Global South. This gives me a deep appreciation of the role that context plays in learning design and an in-depth understanding of what works for learners in different contexts.
Being born and living for almost two decades behind the Iron Curtain, I have first-hand experience of what it means to have limited access to opportunities and what it takes to dare.
I have been lucky to work at such fantastic institutions as INASP; University of Oxford; The Open University UK; the Institute of Education, University College London; Centre for Social Innovation, Vienna and the University of Science and Technology, Krakow.
My mission is to share my learning and experience with others who care about equity and inclusion in learning and want to give their learners what they need
Participatory course development and evaluation process
Human dimension in learning outcomes, it’s both about cognitive and personal growth through learning
Turning online learning into a level playing field by recognising and overcoming structural barriers
Making sure that everyone in an online course feels welcome and all voices are heard and valued
